Femi Oladehin

Femi Oladehin is a Chartered Accountant with 30+ years of experience across Africa. He is a respected investment banker across West Africa with extensive years of expertise in economic research, portfolio management, financial advisory, private equity and project & corporate finance. He joins the Romulus Group as Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) from Argentil Capital Partners where he spent 10 years as Senior Partner, Investment Banking - helping build Argentil into one of West Africa's premier Energy & Infrastructure investment banks.

In the last 10 years, Femi has raised over US$5billion in capital from local and international sources for a wide range of clients including some of the largest indigenous conglomerates in the sub-continent.

Prior to joining Argentil, Femi led one of Nigeria's largest investment banking groups – BGL Capital Limited as MD/CEO and was responsible for building the largest Debt and Equity Capital Markets capacity within the country. His term as leader of this team saw the execution of some of the largest sub-national debt issuances in the Nigerian Capital Market.

Femi was a senior banker with foremost South African Investment Bank - Rand Merchant Bank where he led a team of bankers in growing the Bank's African footprint.

He also led Standard Bank's West Africa-focused Project & Structured Finance teams and was responsible for a number of landmark transactions.

Femi was First Vice President at ARM Investment Managers and was responsible for the team that developed and financed a number of landmark transactions in the hospitality and infrastructure space including the award-winning Lagos Infrastructure Project - the development of Nigeria's first
private financed toll road in 2005.

He is an alumnus of the Lagos Businesses School and the IESE Business School in Barcelona. He holds an MBA from the University of Benin and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria
